Axiom's CESSI Division Wins Social Security 'Ticket To Work' Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The CESSI Division of Axiom Resource Management, Inc., has won an $18.2 million contract from the Social Security Administration (SSA) to provide program management support for the Ticket-to-Work and Self-Sufficiency Program (known as the "Ticket Program"). CESSI will serve as the Ticket Program Manager for Recruitment and Outreach (PMRO), responsible for performing outreach activities to encourage beneficiary participation in the Ticket Program and for recruiting service providers to serve as Employment Networks. CESSI teamed with New Editions Consulting, Ogilvy Public Relations, and JWT Employment Communications to win this contract.

Jane Rath, CESSI Division's Project Director for the Ticket Program, expressed confidence that CESSI would provide strong support to the Ticket Program. "CESSI is a national leader in developing disability policy and building employment referral networks, and we look forward to providing exceptional support to our clients in the Social Security Administration," she said.

The Ticket Program provides SSA disability beneficiaries with more choices for receiving employment services and increases provider incentives to serve these individuals. Objectives of the Ticket Program include expanding the availability of healthcare services and coverage, eliminating certain work disincentives, and providing for enhanced benefits planning and assistance from other public and private sources.
